A Hybrid Irrigation Technician role performing field irrigation work, some business development, customer service and project management with a heavy emphasis on water conservation education and consumer activation as it relates to residential and light commercial irrigation water usage and products.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour + monthly commissions at 2% of gross revenue sold estimated at $300- $600 per month.
• Qualify for overtime.
• $300 signing bonus paid after 90 days of employment.
• One paid vacation days or holidays per month of employment.

• Support and training for industry irrigation certifications, including CIT and CLIA.

CONSERVA RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Owner/Operator and Technicians on outbound opportunities including building trade alliances.
• Become familiar with Conserva Irrigation’s brand, model and utilized EPA WaterSense products.
Residential System Efficiency Inspections
• Assess residential irrigation systems through our proven system efficiency and water conservation analysis or inspection and sales process, educating customers on system efficiency upgrades, repairs, enhancements, and seasonal packages that will conserve water and improve the health of their landscape.
• Consult with homeowners about proposed high-priority repairs, design recommendations and EPA Watersense enhancements. • Input recommendations in the CRM system and generate water-saving proposals for customers.
Commercial Site Assessments & Business Development
• In partnership with Owner/Operator assess small to mid-size commercial irrigation opportunities and existing systems through Conserva’s proven commercial site assessment analysis and sales process.
• Educate commercial customers on system enhancements and efficiency upgrades that can reduce irrigation water conservation and improve the health of their landscape, while benefiting from reduced water consumption showing a positive ROI.
• Present assessment to commercial property stakeholders, with a thorough analysis of water savings and ROI.
New Residential Systems Estimates and Project Management
• Handle new residential system irrigation install estimates and proposals, including sketching layout, with zone and head estimates, PSI, GPM, and other site metrics.
• Consulting with a potential customer on the value of water conservation and the best irrigation products to install in their system.
• Once the proposal is accepted, become the project manager working with the outsourced Irrigation Designer to produce CAD and with subcontractor installer on material order, scheduling, and onsite support.
Field Irrigation Technician
• Replace irrigation heads and nozzles.
• Fix drip, lateral and mainline leaks.
• Move irrigation heads to improve system design.
• Perform residential and commercial system repairs.
• Activating and Winterizing irrigation systems.
